Data Collection

Built-in File Browser

Finding and previewing your data is easy with the built-in file browser. Directories can be bookmarked for instant access without having to navigate across directories. Also, Essential FTIR is integrated with Windows so that you can load files from the Windows file explorer. There is a file finder tool to help you locate your datafiles, including text search.

Data Manipulations

In this screen, a quantitative analysis standard is contaminated with CO2. Using the 'Zap Regions' tool, you can easily lay down and move region markers to define spectral areas.

Now, the 'Zap' tool has been applied to the data.

Infinite-level undo

All changes made to data can be undone to any level, returning the data to a previous state.

Audit Trail

ALl changes made to data are recorded and automatically saved to disk with the data. Here is a sample audit trail:

Batch Processing

Essential FTIR has easy and powerful batch processing capabilities. You can write complicated sequences of steps to apply to data. The batch sequence can be applied to single files, windows full of data, selected disk files or entire directory trees of data.
